An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Charity Team.  Manchester Foundation Trust Charity has recently successfully delivered an ambitious investment strategy that has grown fundraised income by 100% over three years.  Now the Charity, which supports nine hospitals across Manchester, including Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, is preparing for the next three years with an even greater ambition.  Part of this ambition is to develop events fundraising and we are looking for a highly organised an enthusiastic Development Assistant to work within our Major Gifts and Trusts team. 

The Development Assistant will support the Major Gifts and Trusts team to meet ambitious income targets. Key responsibilities include strategic research and data analysis, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded on the Raiser's Edge database, event organising and providing administrative support to the Senior Development Manager and others as appropriate. The role will be based in the charities office in the newly refurbished Citylabs building.

For this role you must have:-

Proven administrative experience in a busy office environment, including experience of using databases (Raisers Edge) and advanced keyboard skills.

Experience working at public events.

A high level of computer literacy and advanced keyboard skills with experience of using a range of applications including Microsoft Office
