Clinical Services Team Manager, Employee Health and Wellbeing Service

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust

Wythenshawe Hospital Sites and Oxford Road Campus (with regular travel across MFT sites)

Band 8a

Something exciting is happening at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). As the largest Trust in the UK (and one of Manchester’s main employers), we’re leading the way in unrivalled medical care and treatment. And we’re completely redefining our approach to Employee Health and Wellbeing by bringing together specialist skills and expertise to support our people. And that’s where you come in.

As our Clinical Services Team Manager, you will champion, motivate and inspire your team to deliver an outstanding service.

Working across Wythenshawe Hospital Sites and Oxford Road Campus sites, you will ensure we deliver an efficient and effective Employee Health and Wellbeing Clinical Service to our colleagues. At all times, you’ll be working within the boundaries of Department of Health Guidelines and the Green Book, Trust Policy and local protocols.

You’ll liaise with other specialists in the management of an Immunisation and Vaccination programme, as well as the Seasonal Flu programme and Inoculation Injuries. In addition to undertaking clinical audit and service evaluation programmes, you will support the delivery of Health and Wellbeing plans, across the Trust and externally. All the while, colleagues will rely on your specialist knowledge.

This high profile and influential role calls for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is a Registered General Nurse (Adult) with the NMC. Holding a current certification for Immunisation and Vaccination, you’ll have a Master’s degree and a management qualification (or equivalent). In addition previous team management training as well as possessing a teaching and mentor qualification would be beneficial.

Throughout your career at MFT, we’ll support your learning, development, and aspirations. Join us at the forefront of change, and you’ll enjoy plenty of opportunities, together with all the benefits you can expect as an NHS employee.

The UK’s largest Trust is making big changes. And we want you to come and help us lead the way.
