As our Health and Wellbeing Manager, you will bring a strategic approach to leading our innovative employee health and wellbeing programmes – one that transforms mindsets and culture.


In this senior leadership role, you’ll have responsibility for the Trust’s Health and Wellbeing agenda. This will involve linking our plans with Public Health Policy and principles to embed a positive culture across our hospitals. Drawing on evidence-based research, you will develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate specialised initiatives, both internally and externally. What’s more, you’ll ensure these programmes embrace key employee health issues and risks, as well as maximising engagement across MFT.


Thanks to your ability to make sense of complex data, you’ll be able to review the impact of our Health & Wellbeing programmes, and show us the return on investment. Utilising specialist knowledge and sensitivity, you’ll rise to the challenge of dealing with the complexities of addressing, motivating and educating people on behavioural change programmes.


Educated to degree level or equivalent, you’ll also ideally hold a post-graduate qualification in health promotion or education, as well as public health research. What’s more, you can demonstrate your continued professional development, public health research and experience in project management.
