We are also the lead provider for a significant number of specialised services including Breast Care, Vascular, Cardiac, Respiratory, Urology Cancer, Paediatrics, Women’s Services, Ophthalmology and Genomic Medicine.

Our vision is to improve the health and quality of life of our diverse population by building an organisation that:

  • Excels in quality, safety, patient experience, research, innovation and teaching
  • Attracts, develops and retains great people
  • Is recognised internationally as a leading healthcare provider

Manchester Foundation Trust is a leading integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus in the thriving city region of Manchester. We offer a unique range of services to the North West, treating and managing the simplest to the most complex conditions and diseases.  We treat more than a million patients every year and we are home to hundreds of world-class staff, each committed to being the very best at what we do. As one of the largest NHS Trusts in the North West, recruiting the best talent to fulfill the wide range of our varied and specialist roles is really important to us.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to work within the Gynaecology Managed Clinical Service.  As an Operational Manager you will have oversight of the day to day management of a range of areas including cross site and will be a key point of escalation for operational issues within the Division.

The role will be varied, from managing waiting lists, to preventing breaches within urgent care, to responding to patient complaints and much more.  Often you will be interacting with patients and providing exemplary customer service as liaising with other departments and the senior management team to facilitate patient’s care.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team and under the pressure of deadlines in a range of areas.  Adaptability is also a key requirement with the successful candidate being required to cover a number of areas within the Division.

In return we offer a rewarding role that offers challenge but also support within a fantastic team in a fast-paced, ever expanding environment, with training opportunities identified and offered in order to support your ongoing development and the chance to be a part of an exciting and dynamic team.
