Highly Specialised Clinical Physiologist

Band 7

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Physiologist to undertake all aspects of work performed by a large team of highly qualified clinical physiologists in one of Europe’s largest lung centres.

This role is to cover the Maternity Leave for one of our long standing team members and we are looking for a confident, highly experienced physiologist who is keen to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will also be expected to take on mentoring and teaching responsibilities for PTP and STP students. The position is Part-time (18.75Hr/week) & fixed term for 12 months.

In addition to appropriate respiratory physiology experience, the successful candidate must possess an BSc in Biological or Physiological sciences or equivalent qualification (see person spec.) and be registered with RCCP or AHCS (or be eligible for registration).

Wythenshawe Hospital is conveniently situated in close proximity to the beautiful areas of the Peak District and Lake District national parks and has excellent communication routes by air, road and rail to all parts of the country.
