1 x Post CCT Fellow in Radiology with an interest in Thoracic Radiology

A new and exciting opportunity exists at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester for a Post CCT Fellow in Thoracic Imaging, this post is available for an immediate start.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and dynamic team player for the appointment of a Post CCT Radiologist with an interest in Thoracic Radiology to work in a dynamic team in a large Thoracic Tertiary Centre at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

The post will offer the successful applicant training to FRCR curriculum level 2 in thoracic radiology, including thoracic intervention, as well as being central to our pioneering accelerated lung cancer RAPID diagnostic pathway, a new, UK-leading early detection Lung Cancer Screening Programme, (first UK Commissioned Lung Health Check/Lung Cancer Screening Programme) and delivering thoracic diagnostic services from regional to national level, including the national Aspergillus Centre, transplant and ECMO service.

Wythenshawe Hospital in South Manchester has an excellent location close to the Lake District, Peak District and North Wales. It is at the heart redevelopment as part of the National strategy, travel links are excellent, with the hospital within 2 miles of the international Airport and motorway network to North, South and West.  A tram connection between the hospital and city centre is on the perimeter of the Hospital site.
