We are seeking a new Teaching Assessor to support the delivery of our healthcare support worker apprenticeship programmes (Levels 2 & 3) the post holder will report to the Apprenticeship Team Manager and support the Workforce and OD Department in implementing apprenticeship education, training and development of the Apprenticeship Programmes for all relevant staff groups.

You will deliver training and assessment of the support worker apprenticeship curriculum across the nursing and midwifery teams.  S/he will contribute to the improvement of standards of care through the development of all relevant staff groups, participating in audit and research, teaching and supporting colleagues and the provision of effective leadership.

As part of your contribution within the Workforce and OD function, you will ensure that the workforce is fit for purpose in terms of their roles and that individual/role competencies are reviewed to provide a safe, high quality and efficient service.   You will contribute to the Trust education and development strategies, contributing to projects as designated by the Assistant Head of Workforce and OD and the Apprenticeship Managers. Ultimately you will progress the delivery of Apprenticeships, ensuring that this delivery is compliant with the academic and vocational frameworks/ standards prescribed by the awarding bodies/ supporting Ofsted and all other external inspections.
