Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist? If so we would like you to join our well established Band 6 acute rotation at Manchester Royal Infirmary. 

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is the leading Trust for teaching, research and specialist services in the North West of England. 

You will have the opportunity to work across in-patient areas within acute, elderly and specialist medicine, orthopaedic (major trauma) and surgical specialties.

You will benefit from working in our multi professional teams which are led by highly specialist Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, supporting a wide skill mix of clinicians within the acute settings. We promote close MDT working allowing a holistic approach to patient care, joint therapy working & developments. 

Your role as a Band 6 in these clinical areas will include an active involvement in working with the MDT in regards to seamless discharge planning, the development of the acute services, potential supervision of junior staff & student education and the opportunity to consolidate knowledge and develop clinical & non-clinical skills within a supportive environment.

The teams are proactive in the development of both staff & service and are committed to CPD providing regular Multi-Disciplinary IST and specialist uni-disciplinary support & education with regular appraisals & supervision.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
