Do you have extensive experience in a senior administrative or secretarial role? Would you like to support the development of staff across every aspect of a large and diverse organisation? Then you should join our innovative multi-professional team.

As Personal Assistant to the Head of Professional Education and Development, Matrons for Pre-registration and Post registration Professional Education and Development, in addition to providing administrative support to the wider Professional Education and Development team, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the Professional Education and Development Team. Through leading the administration team you will ensure the administrative needs of the team are met.

The Professional Education and Development Team works with staff at all levels, across all professions, throughout the Trust. We also work closely with our partners at our local universities. We’ll look to you to deliver an administrative service of the highest quality. Supporting a wide range of education activities and initiatives, you’ll ensure this variety of work streams operate effectively at maximum capacity. Put simply, you’ll help us make a real difference for more people than ever before.

Your track record includes the establishment of administrative processes and procedures. You’ll bring to the role in-depth knowledge of managing educational and training databases, and the ability to produce relevant reports. Highly organised, you'll demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Naturally, you’ll have exceptional administration, IT and typing skills. We’ll expect you to be educated to A Level or similar, and to have RSA 3 / NVQ 3 or an equivalent level of experience. If you don’t hold the ECDL, you’ll certainly have comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and diary management.
