Are you an experienced public engagement practitioner looking for a new opportunity? Do you have brilliant ideas and the skills to make them happen? Are you committed to reaching new audiences?

We are looking for an ambitious and talented public engagement practitioner to lead a series of projects to engage, involve, and develop our communities within Greater Manchester. Working in partnership with people and patients, researchers and cultural partners to engage new and diverse audiences with health research, for mutual benefit.

The successful candidate will also draw upon your previous experience, to advise  researchers on public engagement, supporting them to develop ideas, plan, deliver, evaluate and gain funding for pubic engagement.

We are looking for an exceptional practitioner, and team player, who has the drive to work with us to achieve our vision of becoming a UK centre of excellence in engagement and involvement. Excellent organisational and project management skills are essential.

The start date is 4 March 2019 (subject to notice period), for a fixed term of 2 years with a view to extension. This role is 1.0FTE.
