Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is the leading Trust for teaching, research and specialist services in the North West of England. We provide an extensive range of district general hospital services to the local population of central Manchester and tertiary and specialist services to patients from across the North West and beyond.

The Allied Health Professionals Directorate, based at Manchester Royal Infirmary and St. Mary's Hospital, is a large and dynamic forward thinking department dedicated to providing a high quality service to our patients.

To apply for this vacancy you must have a recognised, or pending degree in Physiotherapy and if already qualified be registered with the Health Care Professions Council. 

You must be an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our well established and supported 4 monthly rotations across the following wide range of clinical areas.

• Trauma Orthopaedics
• Acute Respiratory and Elderly Medicine
• Musculoskeletal Outpatients
• Rehabilitation 
• Women’s Health 
• Specialist Medicine
• Cardiac Surgery
• Surgery/ITU 
• Rheumatology
• Stroke 
• Vascular 

We also have a rotation based at Trafford General Hospital which is:

• Intermediate Neuro Rehabilitation

As part of a large teaching hospital, our lively multi-disciplinary department is committed to providing excellent patient focused care. 

Within each rotation you will supported closely by a multi-disciplinary team of senior therapists allowing you to develop clinical knowledge and skills. We are committed to CPD and provide tailored IST programmes, an active peer support group and regular appraisals.
