The Manchester Local Care Organisation's central Manchester Community Podiatry Service is looking to recruit podiatrists to work as part of our friendly and supportive team of 15 podiatrists, 2 assistant practitioners, 1 orthotics technician and 3 administration staff based at the Foot Hospital at Rusholme Health Centre. The service operates from the following clinics: Chorlton Health Centre, Alexandra Park Health Centre, Rusholme Health Centre, The Vallance Centre, Levenshulme Health Centre, Longsight Health Centre, Abbey Hey Clinic. We also visit patients in their own home and in the residential care setting.

Podiatrists (AfC band 5, progressing to band 6 on successful completion of preceptorship) - Due to staff retirement we are looking to recruit Podiatrists to work as part of our friendly team. If you are a new or recent graduate or a podiatrist returning to work after a career break, we would be interested to hear from you. You will undertake a comprehensive preceptorship programme (of up to 2 years) which enables you to consolidate your knowledge and skills acquired at undergraduate level and prepares you for an NHS career working with a high risk caseload. Posts are full time 37.5 hours or part time (up to 24.5 hours). Job share and other hours will be considered.  The posts will be held at AfC band 5 for up to 2 years until the post holder(s) successfully complete the in-house preceptorship programme.

Applicants who can evidence they have previously completed a comprehensive preceptorship programme will be considered at AfC band 6 entry.
