We are looking to appoint two experienced mammography clinical trainers to contribute to the development and delivery of breast radiographic training programmes as part of the National Breast Imaging Academy project based at the Nightingale Centre, Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester. This exciting and innovative project has been funded by Health Education England to address the national shortage of breast imaging specialists and safeguard the future of breast imaging services.

You will have proven experience of delivering mammography training and developing course content and materials. You will have a creative approach to problem-solving, as well as the ability to succeed through cooperation and collaboration with others.

The successful candidates will work with the Academy radiographic lead to: contribute to the development of e-learning modules for breast radiography training programmes; develop course content and materials for breast radiography training programmes; and contribute to the development and delivery of apprenticeship programmes for breast radiographic staff.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £29.50(standard disclosure) or £47.50 (enhanced disclosure) Which will be deducted from salary, in the first 3 months of employment.
