An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Renal Outpatient Team at Manchester Royal Infirmary, for a Band 5 Staff Nurse, part time 30 hours per week.

Manchester Royal Infirmary is home to the largest kidney and pancreas transplant center in the UK performing around 300 transplants each year, the outpatient nursing team is pivotal in providing both short and long term follow up care to this group of patients, supporting the medical teams and also providing a nurse led service.

We also provide support to the nephrology and pre-dialysis service, vascular access clinics and patients having assessment for transplantation.

We are looking for a motivated and committed nurse ideally with experience in renal nursing or similar background to join our team. A calm, diplomatic and caring approach and a commitment to provide high quality, safe and effective care is essential.

You will need to be able to work well under pressure and respond effectively. you must have excellent team working and communication skills, you'll need to be able to work quickly and effectively within a busy and expanding service.
