An opportunity has arisen for a keen and motivated individual to join the team of outpatient administration staff working in the North West Lung Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital. The hours of work will be 30 hours per week.

The post holder will provide clerical support to the Lung Function Department and duties will include recording Lung Function activity, preparation of patient clinics, making appointments and dealing politely with enquiries as well as assisting with general administrative duties as required. The post holder will primarily work alongside members of the specialist respiratory team. The post holder may be required to cover colleagues in other areas within the Respiratory Directorate. 

Applicants should have a good general education, be keen to learn and possess basic keyboard or typing skills. Ideally the successful applicant will have experience of the Lorenzo patient administration system (PAS). The role will involve contact with patients and medical staff and so good communication skills are essential.
