A5 is ward that cares for Trauma & Orthopaedic patients. We have a well-established team, who are very keen to welcome someone into this role.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is a dedicated, highly motivated individual to undertake this role. The role is focused on the delivery of high quality care, ensuring a clean comfortable and safe environment for the patient.

The duties require you to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to function well within a team environment. You will work Monday- Friday as part of a highly motivated team dedicated to delivering high quality care. You will assist in both maintaining cleaning standards and managing stock levels. You will also have some responsibility for organising maintenance and repair of equipment.

To assist the Trust in reducing healthcare associated infections you should become familiar with the Trust’s Hand Decontamination Policy, attend mandatory induction training and be compliant with all hand hygiene standards at all times. Full-time, previous experience is desirable but not essential.
