This post is available initially for 12 months. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the direct clinical care of patients for elective surgery. The candidate will provide 10 PAs to include clinics, diagnostics & elective core urology operating lists. They will take part in a 1 in 7 on call rota which will be part of our hot week rota, which is fully supported by a middle grade urology doctor.

The appointee will form part of a team of eight other Consultant Urological Surgeons: Mr. Vijay Ramani, Mr. Vijay Sangar, Mr. Karyee Chow, Mr. Thiru Gunendran, Mr. Richard Montague, Mr Panos Christopoulos Miss Hazel Warburton & Mr. Graham Young. The Consultant Surgeons’ special interests cover the fields of Oncology, Stones, Female and Functional Urology. The Urology Surgical Consultants are supported by 3 Interventional Uroradiologists (Dr J. Tuck & Dr Y. Lim & Dr. N. Omar) who provide a 24/7 nephrostomy service. There are 3 Specialist Trainees, 3 other doctors at Specialty Doctor Level, 4 doctors at Core Trainee level and 2 FY1 trainees. There is a team of Urology Specialist, McMillan & Stone nurses.
